Ms Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai is Senior Associate and a very active member of our Aviation and Shipping Team, having extensive experience in more than 6 years of both dry work and wet work. She has assisted clients in a variety of sectors such as aviation and shipping, insurance, re-insurance, marine and international trade, and all forms of dispute resolution.

Ms. Mai has assisted the team in many aviation and shipping incident cases. She has handled cases of maritime claims including all ranges of cargo shortage/damage, demurrage and container detention, ship arrest/release as well as collision and allision. She has long experience in working with local and foreign shipowners, and charterers to resolve disputes over charterparties or other relevant issues. Mai has assisted many Japanese clients, including Tokio Marine, Japan P&I Club, and MISG in many dispute cases before local maritime administrations, customs as well as courts and arbitration tribunals.

She also has been praised as having “hard-working and very quick response” and has handled various complicated cross-border cases.
