Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai is a qualified lawyer in Vietnam and an essential member of our Aviation and Shipping Team. With over eight years of experience in maritime law, she understands the operational challenges in the international shipping sector. 

Ms. Mai specializes in shipping contract disputes, including charterparties and bills of lading. She has expertise in reviewing documentation and managing issues related to port facilities, cargo claims, and ship delays. Her work covers demurrage, bunker quality disputes, and general average matters. In wet work, she addresses collisions, P&I Club coverage, and regulatory investigations. She has assisted major Japanese clients, including Tokio Marine and Japan P&I Club, in various disputes. Additionally, she has substantial transactional experience, drafting agreements for commodity transportation and managing OFAC delistings. Her diverse clientele reflects her expertise in international trade and shipping law. 

Ms. Mai is also dedicated to aviation law, assisting clients with accident disputes, liability claims, and contractual matters. She navigates investigations and represents clients in legal proceedings, including issues under the Montreal Convention and Vietnam’s Aviation Law.
