AMS 2025 WRAP-UP: ANHISA AND LAWYER DANG VIET ANH – ADVANCING INNOVATION IN ARBITRATION AND MEDIATION

The AMS 2025 series – the Arbitration and Mediation Symposium 2025 organized by the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) in collaboration with leading law universities – concluded successfully in early April 2025.

With the overarching theme “Time Management in Arbitration: Practical Necessity and Implementation Tools”, AMS 2025 became a key platform for arbitrators, mediators, legal professionals, and researchers to explore solutions for improving the efficiency of dispute resolution through arbitration and mediation.

As a contributing partner and expert participant, ANHISA was proud to have our Managing Partner, Lawyer Dang Viet Anh, take part as a keynote speaker in Workshop 2, themed “Strategies for Enhancing Time Efficiency through the Combination of Arbitration and Mediation.”

In his presentation, Mr. Dang Viet Anh provided in-depth insights into the strategic integration of arbitration and mediation – a growing trend worldwide and increasingly adopted in Vietnam.

Drawing from his extensive experience in commercial arbitration and maritime dispute resolution, he delivered practical analysis and concrete proposals aimed at optimizing time and cost in dispute resolution procedures. Mr. Dang Viet Anh emphasized that flexible integration of arbitration and mediation can offer businesses more efficient paths to resolution, particularly by saving significant time in the process.

His thoughtful contributions not only enriched the content of the workshop but also reflected ANHISA’s ongoing commitment to promoting modern, effective dispute resolution methods. We believe these contributions will support the development of arbitration practices, recommendations for legal reform, and the enhancement of arbitral procedures in Vietnam in the near future.
